Boys' and Girls' Stroke and Turn Swim Camp

Improve your competitive swimming skills!

CAMP EXPERIENCE:

Campers will learn the proper techniques of the four competitive swim strokes, as well as the mechanics of starts, turns, and finishes. Campers should have some swimming experience, but the camp can be useful for both summer swimmers and year-round competitive swimmers. Instruction will be tailored to allow all swimmers to improve their strokes!

Campers should bring a suit, cap, goggles and towel.

George Ward is the director of aquatics at The Pennington School and has been coaching the varsity high school swimming team for over 23 years, winning 19 NJISAA State Championships, including the 2016 Boys’ state championship. He has sent numerous swimmers from Pennington to some of the top Div. I and Div. III college swimming programs. His swimmers have achieved All-Prep, All-State, Academic All-American, and athletic All-American consideration. Coach Ward is a member of NISCA, ASCA, and has certifications in WSI, USS coaching, and as a CPR instructor.
