You will learn how to create your own music using the tools of the pros, including Apple's GarageBand and Avid's Pro Tools.
Donald Dolan, D.M.A., Teacher of Music
Dr. Dolan is a graduate and winner of many music performance and scholarly awards at Vanderbilt University, The University of Michigan, and Rutgers University. After a successful career as a concert pianist, including a debut at New York's Carnegie Hall, Dr. Dolan assumed directorship of Pennington's orchestra and jazz band.
He teaches AP Music Theory at Pennington, where his students have received top scores on their College Board examinations.
With a lifelong interest in recorded music of all styles, Dr. Dolan created the music technology curriculum at The Pennington School to empower students to use the school's state-of-the-art multi-track recording studio.
