History Safari Camp

History comes alive on field trips.

CAMP EXPERIENCE:
Five separate day trips to local historic sites will provide a fun and educational week for students ages 10-15. Campers will depart at 9:00 a.m. each day for a different trip (see below) and return to The Pennington School for pickup at 3:00 p.m.

TENTATIVE ITINERARY*:

Monday: Philadelphia and Camden waterfronts, including Battleship New Jersey, the Cruiser Olympia, and the submarine Becuna
Tuesday: Fonthill, The Mercer Museum, Doylestown, Pennsylvania or the Thomas Edison Museum at Menlo Park, Edison, NJ
Wednesday: Historic Philadelphia
Thursday: Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty
Friday: Pennsbury Manor

Boys and girls ages 10-15

ITEMS PROVIDED:
Pennington Summer Programs T-shirt, lunch

None; refillable water bottle if desired.
