Writer's Workshop Camp

Express yourself through original short stories and poetry.

CAMP EXPERIENCE:
Introduction to the art of creative writing for students who enjoy writing short stories and poetry. Campers will:

Read and discuss works of classical and contemporary authors
Write and revise their own creative writing
Work in small workshop-style groups to develop their craft in an ideal, encouraging environment

INSTRUCTOR:
Lisa Fitzpatrick, Teacher of English

CAMP OPEN TO:

Boys and girls ages 10-15

ITEMS PROVIDED:
Pennington Summer Programs T-shirt, lunch

ITEMS TO BRING:
Spiral notebook with lined paper and pens/pencils. Laptops and iPads are optional.

9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
