As you look to develop your sophomore curriculum, it is a good time to consider mapping out the rest of your high school career, making sure that you are in sync with the graduation requirements. For those of you who aspire to attend the most competitive colleges, this is a good time to make sure that you are on track to enroll in the more academically rigorous courses that these schools require. Keep in mind that past performance and teacher recommendations will help to determine your ability to choose these classes.

As a sophomore at The Pennington School, your placement into honors sections of math, English, chemistry, history, and foreign language is predicated on your 9th-grade performance and teacher recommendations. (Please check with individual departments for specific guidelines).
