OVERVIEW

Central to the philosophy of the School's founders is the belief that the real purpose of education is not simply to fill students with information but to enable them to think. Pennington continues to be a community dedicated to producing well-rounded individuals who are prepared for life's challenges.

The academic program in the ninth through twelfth grades is designed to prepare students for college, and a traditional curriculum is followed in all major academic disciplines. Students who demonstrate academic excellence are encouraged to pursue honors level and AP level courses, available in all academic disciplines.
