Physical Life Skills

In addition to after-school participation in a team sport, we offer a Physical Life Skills course designed specifically for this age group. This course meets every week and every Middle School student participates. One-third of this unique program takes place in our beautiful aquatic center, and all students develop comfort and confidence in the water. For the second third of the year, we have partnered with our on-campus Inspire Performance Academy. They have developed a unique curriculum that is motivational in nature, and focuses on balance, movement, coordination, and developing self-confidence and a good body image. The final third of the course is yoga, to teach students mindfulness and strategies for strengthening their bodies and their minds.
