Junior Proctors are a select group of juniors chosen to work with
Middle School students because of their leadership qualities. Middle
School students are divided into small groups who meet every Friday
morning with two Junior Proctors. These Upper School role models
do activities with their groups which help to ease the difficulties
of adolescence and to create a smooth transition from elementary
to Middle School.
The school year begins with an overnight Middle School retreat to
Camp Speers Eljibar in the Poconos. During the retreat, students
participate in team-building activities, form friendships, initiate
the Junior Proctor program, and start off the school year on a positive
note.
