UPPER SCHOOL REVISIT DAYS

Our Revisit Days on Thursday, April 4, and Monday, April 8, were a great success, with bright sunny weather and enthusiastic families back on campus to meet faculty and students in the Upper School. After a brief greeting from Head of School Penny Townsend, students went with their student hosts to attend classes while their parents participated in panel discussions with faculty members and students. They met up again in Sparks Gymnasium for an extracurricular activities fair before having lunch with us. We hope to see all of you back at Pennington in September!

MIDDLE SCHOOL PARENT REVISIT DAY

On April 3, The Pennington School welcomed back parents of students admitted to Middle School for next fall.

Following a warm greeting from Head of School Penny Townsend and Director of Admission Stephen Milich, parents attended their choice of morning classes before meeting with a group of Middle School faculty for a panel discussion about the excellent academic and extracurricular programs at Pennington. Afterwards, prospective parents joined current Middle School students for a lovely brunch in the School’s Silva Gallery of Art.

Welcome to The Pennington School! For over 170 years, Pennington has been challenging its students to strive for personal excellence in the classroom, on the stage and playing fields, and in the studio.

We intentionally enroll a diverse population at Pennington, believing that such diversity enriches a community and offers countless opportunities for learning and for understanding that, though our differences shape and define us, our commonalities unite us.

As you learn about Pennington, we hope that you will come to understand it as a very special place in which to learn and grow; a place where students learn the true meaning of excellence: facing challenges and achieving one’s personal best, both in areas of strength and in areas never before attempted. We invite you to visit our campus, both to see the School and our students in action and to feel the enthusiasm and friendliness that makes Pennington feel like home.
