By returning to Pennington to lead the Commencement procession
for the Class of 2002, Adrian DeYoung and the other members of the
returning Class of 1952 had a poignant opportunity to reflect on
what Pennington gave to them and what it has meant to their lives.
By making provisions for Pennington in their wills, Adrian and his
wife, Carol, have strengthened Pennington's future and have helped
other students benefit from a Pennington education as Adrian has.

Dr. Green's legacy to Pennington encompassed far more than the letters,
manuscripts, and books he presented to the School on his retirement.
His legacy lives on in the commitment to academic excellence and
respect for each individual that was his hallmark as a teacher and
administrator. In order to perpetuate his good work, The Francis
Harvey Green Society was formed to provide for The Pennington School's
future through planned giving. The Society recognizes those who
have made a provision for the School in their estate plans and encourages
others to make such plans. Provisions include bequests, charitable
remainder and lead trusts, and retained life estates.

If you are interested in making a planned gift to Pennington, please
contact Timothy H. Mathiasen, Director of Development, at tmathiasen@pennington.org
or (609) 737-6103.
