After more than 80 years of competitive swimming at the secondary school level, The Pennington School has brought swimming, as a sport and a life skill, into the mainstream of School and community activities. Our new aquatics program provides opportunities for access to the School’s Michael T. Martin Aquatic Center Monday through Friday during the school day. Pennington students, faculty, parents, and members of the community are encouraged to sign up for classes, lap-swimming, and swim lessons—and for the competitive swimmer, Pennington Stingrays.
The new program promotes health and wellness, and it teaches swimming as a life skill. Information on lap-swimming, swimming lessons for pre-school-age children, the aquatics curriculum at The Pennington School, and opportunities to become a year-round USS swimmer through Pennington Stingrays is provided on the pages to the left. If you have any questions about the aquatics program at Pennington, please call Director of Aquatics George Ward at 609–737–1840 or email gward@pennington.org.
