The swimming pool at Pennington
The swimming pool at Pennington supports classes, competitive meets, and community events all year round.

Complete aquatics center with indoor pool

After more than 80 years of competitive swimming at the secondary school level, The Pennington School has brought swimming, as a sport and a life skill, into the mainstream of School and community activities. Our new aquatics program provides opportunities for access to the School’s Michael T. Martin Aquatic Center Monday through Friday during the school day. Pennington students, faculty, parents, and members of the community are encouraged to sign up for classes, lap-swimming, and swim lessons. Competitive swimmers may decide to join the Stingrays, a USS year-round team that offers Pennington students options to train during the school year in the fall, winter, and spring. More information about the Stingrays team can be found by clicking on the team page, left.

Pennington’s program promotes health and wellness, and it teaches swimming as a life skill. We encourage every student at Pennington to become a strong swimmer.
