Maximize your Pennington Pride by supporting our students

... on stage

... on the field

... in the studio

... in the classroom

The Pennington Fund

Pennington is a place for each student to maximize his or her potential. For over 174 years, The Pennington School has challenged its students to strive for personal excellence in the classroom, on the stage and playing fields, in the studio, and in the community.

Daily life at Pennington has changed over the years, but our values remain the same. And each year, Pennington must sustain our current offerings as well as continually build for the future. Contributions to The Pennington Fund help make this possible.

Pennington Fund contributions support academics, the arts, athletics, student activities, our campus, and our overall growth and success as an academic institution.

Every member of the Pennington Community— alumni, parents, friends, faculty, staff, administrators, corporations, and foundations—is called upon to help maintain our excellence. Every gift, no matter the size is important, and makes a difference.

How should I give?

Tax-deductible gifts can be made in the following ways:

Give Green: Help us to eliminate the use of paper, postage, and fossil fuels by making a gift online.

Check or money order: Please send payable to The Pennington School Pennington Fund, 112 West Delaware Avenue, Pennington, NJ 08534. Or you may call the Development Office directly at 609–737–6121.

Appreciated Securities: By giving appreciated long-term stock directly to Pennington, you may receive a charitable income tax deduction for the full value of the stock. Gifts of securities are valued at the median price on the date of transfer to Pennington. Stock can either by delivered to the School or transferred electronically. Read how to make a gift of securities to Pennington or contact Director of Development Joanna Storrar in the Development Office at 609–737–6103 or jstorrar@pennington.org.

• Wire Transfers: Visit the Wire Transfers page for information on how to complete this transaction.

• Matching Gifts: More than 1,000 companies match donations made by their employees and retirees to independent schools. The value of an individual gift can be doubled – even tripled – through corporate matching gifts. Since matching gifts must be initiated by the donor, please inquire whether your employer has such a program, and if so, obtain the proper forms to forward with your contribution. We will fill out and return the form to your company, which will then issue a matching gift contribution directly to Pennington. A Pennington donor receives full credit for both the original gift and the amount of the match.
