Pedestrian Campus

The fifth and final phase of Pennington's Building for the Future campaign created a pedestrian-friendly environment that allows students to freely and safely travel our campus.

Construction of an Access Road

Starting in summer 2017, The Pennington School began to reshape campus access and driveways to create a more unified and cohesive external environment. The new road, Wesley Drive, was completed during the 2018-19 school year, and cars are now directed to the new roadway behind Stainton Hall after the morning drop-off and then loop around the campus (see map below). The new road is named for Joe and Marion Wesley, and it creates an all-pedestrian campus that enables students to move between classes in a traffic-free environment.
