"One of my favorite things to do at Pennington is to make connections with my peers and be part of this community. I came into the Pennington community as a seventh-grader, and I thought it would take me a while to build relationships. But, to my surprise, I found people I could connect with immediately during the Middle School Launch event at the beginning of the year. I'm now involved in many sports and clubs, from football to track to the Black Student Union. This has helped me develop great relationships that will last a lifetime. 

Pennington has helped me to excel academically. The teachers take time to help you understand the subjects and are always available for extra help. This teaching style has helped me to become more of an independent learner."
