Guidelines for Official Statements about Outside Events
The Pennington School has a long, rich history of and commitment to welcoming and supporting a diverse School community; not only does this commitment to diversity extend to support every student and employee, but it is also fundamental to Pennington’s identity and culture. Because the School values all members of its community equally, it will generally refrain from issuing a statement about national or global events that do not have a direct impact on the Pennington School community or on the mission of the School.
- The safety and well-being of Pennington’s students and community remain the highest priority. In the wake of significant societal events, The Pennington School stands ready to provide ongoing support to its students, families, and employees with all available and appropriate resources.
- The Pennington School’s longstanding dedication to fostering a diverse and inclusive community guides the actions of School administration. Although the School may not make public declarations, teachers and administrators continually work to ensure that every member of the Pennington School family feels valued, supported, and heard.
