The Pennington School offers programs in athletics, arts, and academics that are certain to enrich your summer!

Sports Camps

Cost: $295/week for 1-week sessions except for Outdoor Adventure Camp, which is $450/week. Fee includes lunch daily. Before- and after-camp care will be available at an additional cost.

Camp hours are 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. All camps are appropriate for students ages 10–15. Please click on camps listed at left for a complete description of each.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is lunch provided?

Yes, lunch is provided in the School’s dining hall for full-day camps, by the same dining service that is used during the school year. There is a different hot entree served each day, such as tacos, hamburgers, or grilled cheese. Depending on the day, there are a variety of side options, which might include hummus, garden salad, and/or pasta salad.

*Lunch is not provided for: Getting Ready for Algebra, Summer Reading Skills, and Swimming Camp

What are the hours and days of the camps?

The vast majority of camps are 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Some programs for high school students have different hours. See the description of each program on their individual pages for details.

Is there before- and after-care available?

Yes. Before-camp care runs from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. and after-camp care runs from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Both programs take place in the student center., with counselor supervision Students will be offered a snack during after care, but otherwise these periods are free for students to read and engage in unstructured games individually or with peers and staff. Before care is $35 per week and after care is $70 per week.

*Before-and-after-care is not available for: Getting Ready for Algebra, Summer Reading Skills, and Swimming Camp. Please contact the camp director for a special request if necessary.

How do I reach the camp office?

The camp office can be reached at (609) 737-1842. An emergency cell phone number will be sent by e-mail (along with other important information) before camp begins.

What forms are required for camp?

Online registration and the Emergency Contact and Medical History Forms (including immunization records) are required for your child to participate in camp. These forms will be emailed to you upon registration, or click here for an additional copy.

Where do I pick up and drop off my child for camp?

Drop-off and pick-up are in the parking lot off the Burd Street entrance.

Can my child walk home from camp or get picked up by someone other than a parent?

Yes, if you send an e-mail to giving your permission for the arrangement.
