Summer 2018: College Guidance Seminar/College Visitation Experience
Summer College Guidance Seminar provides Pennington students with all they need to know to navigate the essentials of the college research, application and admission process. Topics covered include:
the Common Application®
The Coalition Application®
college essay writing and completion
SAT, ACT, SAT IIs, APs, TOEFL, and other tests
and much more
The week-long course will also offer college and university campus visits and tours.There will be breaks throughout the day (in addition to a one-hour break for lunch) and students will have opportunities to be outdoors.
The class is graded on a pass/fail basis. Students who meet the requirements of this summer course will not take the College Guidance Seminar during their junior year (normally a one-quarter course).

Pennington students beginning Grades 11- and 12 in fall 2018
Lunch, all course materials
ITEMS TO BRING:
an iPad or laptop, personal snacks, and refillable water bottle
Week of August 6, 2018
8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Some additional time will be required for assignments completed at home
