NEW FOR 2026-27! GATEWAY TERM

We are excited to introduce Gateway Term, launching this academic year for Grades 6-12! An expansion of Pennington's highly regarded Horizon experience for seniors, Gateway Term will expand exciting opportunities for all students. After the spring semester concludes, students will immerse themselves in experiences that challenge them academically, personally, and even globally from May 17 to 28, 2027. Following the mini-mester programming, the new Gateway Term will culminate in a Red Hawk Celebration Week, during which our entire community will gather to showcase, reflect upon, and celebrate the remarkable learning, discoveries, and personal growth that all of our students experience throughout their adventures.

Each grade level will participate in a program intentionally designed for students at that stage in their academic and developmental lives. Grade-level programs will meet throughout the academic year, and the capstone performances, trips, or events will take place during those final weeks in May. Every student will also build a personal portfolio to showcase their accomplishments and help prepare them for the college search process.
