Cum Laude Society
Each year, selected members of the student body are considered for membership in the Cum Laude Society. Pennington views this recognition as one of the highest honors it can confer.
The major objective of the Society is to recognize academic excellence. Thus, while all eligible students will have academic and behavioral records of integrity, the primary criterion of selection will be excellent academic achievement. The faculty members of the Cum Laude Society seek to recognize those students who achieve at the highest levels.
Up to ten percent of the senior class is inducted in the fall, and up to another ten percent at graduation. Only students who are in full-time enrollment at Pennington in grades 10 and 11 will be considered for fall induction and in grades 10, 11, and 12 for spring induction.
