The Beauty in Black Culture

A student-curated exhibit highlighting artists from
the Art Club and the Black Student Union. 

Black culture is diverse, bold, and of course, BEAUTIFUL. The Beauty in Black Culture art exhibit takes you through the joys of being Black and through some of the harsh realities for Black people in America. In the gallery, there’s a multitude of media created by Black students and by allies to explain the Black students’ reality and to portray the significance of Black culture for other races and within society at large. All of the work seen is original artwork from the students, either fashioned after images or from imagination. Black is beautiful and it cannot be replicated.
