Aquatics at Pennington
Complete, newly renovated aquatics center with indoor pool
After more than 80 years of competitive swimming at the secondary school level, The Pennington School has brought swimming, as a sport and a life skill, into the mainstream of School and community activities. Our extensive aquatics program provides opportunities for access to the School’s Michael T. Martin Aquatic Center Monday through Friday during the school day. Pennington students, faculty, parents, and members of the community are encouraged to sign up for classes, lap-swimming, and swim lessons. The Pennington School is an authorized provider of American Red Cross swimming lessons. Swim lesson instructors are certified either as water safety instructors or as instructor's aides. Swim lessons are offered during the week Monday through Friday during the school day for children ages nine months through preschool-age who are not yet enrolled in full-day kindergarten.
Pennington’s program promotes health and wellness, and it teaches swimming as a life skill. We encourage every student at Pennington to become a strong swimmer.
Lap-swimming and lessons
Registration forms for fall 2024 lap-swimming and swimming lessons are now available. Programming will begin in September.
