Professional soccer player Alana Cook ’15, who plays for Paris Saint-Germain and the United States women's national soccer team, is having a rapid ascent in her career. The Philadelphia Inquirer recently profiled Cook, and wrote that her success at Pennington “propelled her to star-studded Stanford, a pro career with one of Europe’s giants, and increasing status with the U.S. national team.”
Junior swimming and track standout Makenna Urbanek recently broke a track meet record that stood from 1997. Urbanek took down the 200 Meter Dash record previously held by Gina Spaziano of Pennington's Class of 1997.
Eva Guerino's torrid second half goalkeeping served as a springboard to a comeback win for varsity girls' lacrosse in their season opener. The girls won 13-9.
