Pennington’s varsity girls’ basketball team powered past Stuart Country Day in Princeton this afternoon, 60–43, securing their place in the Prep B championship game.

The NJISAA Prep B Tournament got its biggest shock of the season when No. 8–seed Pennington marched into Princeton and stunned top-seeded Princeton Day School in a statement upset that punched the Red Hawks’ ticket to the semifinals.

Congratulations to the girls’ swim team on their second-place finish at States yesterday! Many personal-best times resulted from a gutsy overall effort.
