The boys’ and girls’ indoor track teams kept busy throughout the winter season as they attended the MAPL league championships, the NJISAA prep championships, the Bishop Loughlin Games on Staten Island, two events at Princeton University’s Jadwin Gym, and several regular season meets.
Pennington’s girls’ team rattled off seven wins in its last eight games to get their record up to 12-11 and more importantly, secure a much coveted and much deserved NJISAA Prep B state championship by defeating number one seeded Villa Walsh Academy. Pennington came into the tournament as the six seed.
