What to Bring

Essentials:

• Reusable water bottles (labeled with student’s name)
• Bedding:
• Two sets bedsheets (twin XL length) 
• Pillow(s)
• Pillowcases  
• Blankets and/or quilt
• Two sets of bath towels, face towels, washcloths
• Laundry basket or washable laundry bag
• Hangers
• Shower caddy (for residents in Old Main and Becher)
• Shower shoes or flip-flops (for residents in Old Main and Becher)

Suggested Items:

• Paper and plastic products
• Tissues
• Paper towels
• Large garbage bags
• Large Ziploc-style bags
• General cleaning supplies
• Disinfecting wipes
• Hand sanitizer
• Antibacterial hand and dish soap
• Microfiber cleaning towels (washable)
• Bathroom cleaning supplies (toilet cleaner and brush) for residents of Buck Hall only
• Bathrobe (for residents in Old Main and Becher)

Optional:

• Airtight, plastic bins and stackable organizers
• All snacks must be stored in an airtight container  
• Small (2.7 cubic feet) refrigerators
• Small room air purifier
• Power strips (no extension cords are allowed)
• Desk lamp and/or floor lamp (no halogen bulbs)
• Washable throw rugs (small)
• Small window fan or box fan
• Adhesive hooks to hang towels on back of doors

Students may use the free washing machines and dryers in the dormitories. They should bring:

• Laundry detergent (recommend Lysol Disinfecting Detergent)
• Dryer Sheets

All Prep Laundry is a weekly laundry service that picks up and delivers to campus for a fee. Students interested in this service may sign up prior to the start of school, but they will also have a few days to do so once school begins. These arrangements can be made through the Dean of Students Office. Download and fill out the form for All Prep Laundry. 

Please don’t bring an abundance of personal items. Valuables should be left at home.

• Fire regulations prohibit the use of halogen lamps, candles, or cooking devices of any kind.
• Irons must have an automatic shut-off feature.
• No desktop monitor may be larger than 27".
• Personal televisions are not permitted.
