Professional soccer player Alana Cook ’15, who plays for Paris Saint-Germain and the United States women's national soccer team, is having a rapid ascent in her career. The Philadelphia Inquirer recently profiled Cook, and wrote that her success at Pennington “propelled her to star-studded Stanford, a pro career with one of Europe’s giants, and increasing status with the U.S. national team.”
On February 24, entrepreneur and Pennington graduate Rachel Domb ’19 spoke to students in the Applied Science program over Zoom. In addition to being a sophomore psychology major at Northeastern University, Domb is the founder of Rooted Living, an eco-friendly, plant-based snack company.
On January 6, Lauren Brown ’15 delivered an Applied Science presentation, "Data Versatility: Using Data in Diverse Ways." Brown described data as a gateway into discovery—either of next steps, major findings, or general knowledge. Because of its power, data can be leveraged in virtually any field.
