Josefina Costa ’17
Josefina graduated from the School of Visual Arts in New York City with a design degree in May 2021. She currently works as a designer at Siegel+Gale and has designed for DKNY, The Nation Magazine, AMEX, and New York Fashion Week. She is an expert in branding, typography, UIUX, and packaging.

Shaynie Hayward ’15
While at The Pennington School, Shaynie volunteered for HomeFront, was a prefect in her dorm, and acted as a Peer Leader. She then went to Muhlenberg College, where she graduated with her bachelor’s degree in sociology. She was also involved with the BSA, and as a writing tutor, RA, program coordinator, and much more. Shaynie is now a teacher at Link Community Charter School in Newark, NJ. She loves having the ability to give back to a community where she grew up and consistently employs her sociological knowledge to advocate for and build resilience in her students.

Alex Saltstein ’17
Alex is a full-stack software engineer at Art Blocks, a platform allowing generative artists to sell their work as NFTs. He graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology in December 2021 with a B.S. in computer science and an M.S. in software engineering.

Michael Savchuck ’12
Michael graduated from Penn State University with a B.S. in civil engineering. During his time in Happy Valley, he served as design manager of a project team that constructed a suspended footbridge in rural Panama. After graduating, he gained a full-time position at Michael A. Beach & Associates, a structural consulting firm in Mount Laurel, NJ.

Josie Sheeran ’17
Josie has recently joined DKC, a public relations firm in NYC. She works primarily with corporate, healthcare, and nonprofit accounts. Josie graduated from the University of Vermont in 2021, earning her B.S. in public communication with a minor in applied design.

Courtney Stewart ’10
Courtney currently serves as the senior associate of development and investor relations at Reinvestment Fund, a mission-driven financial institution that works to ensure that everyone has access to essential opportunities such as jobs, food, schools, and affordable housing. Previously, Courtney served as the development manager for Philadelphia Youth Basketball. She holds a M.A. in American studies from Stockton University, a B.A. in American studies from Ursinus College, and a certificate in nonprofit management from Drexel University.

Brandon Stoneking ’02
Brandon holds a doctorate in physical therapy and currently works at the Stoneking Physical Therapy and Wellness Center. Prior to this, he spent four years at Temple University Hospital working in neurology, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, post-amputation prosthetic/orthotic training, and orthopedics. He graduated in 2007 from Quinnipiac University with a B.A. in health science and received his Ph.D. from the University of Dentistry and Medicine of New Jersey.

Nicholas Yepes ’11
Nicholas currently works at ZX Ventures as an investment principal for the growth equity fund. He graduated from Hamilton College in 2015 with an A.B. in economics, government, and Latin American studies. After a career focusing on microfinance projects and economic development, he pursued his MBA at the University of Chicago.
