Day and Boarding; Grades 6-12

Class of 2024

We have begun scheduling for the next academic year and need parents’ input to formulate an appropriate course of study for your child. To become more familiar with our course offerings, please review the 2020–21 Upper School Course Catalog. Then, please download the Course Request Worksheet for the Class of 2024, and complete, sign, and return it by Friday, May 1, 2020. This worksheet should be scanned and sent to Mary Dwyer at

A typical freshman schedule in our seven-period schedule includes the five core subject areas (Math, English, World Languages, Science, and History), and a required half-year course in Technology (chosen from two options) paired with a half-year course in Arts chosen by the student. Freshmen may elect to use the remaining period of the day for study or request an additional elective in Arts.

You will note that in each of the core subjects there is an option to select an honors-level course. Placement in these courses is subject to department approval and a student’s performance on a placement exam. Placement exams are administered for students who request an honors-level course, advanced math course (Geometry or Algebra II), or advanced world language course (level II and above). More information will follow under separate cover once we receive and process the completed Course Selection Guide.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Mary Dwyer, administrative assistant to the academic dean, at 609–737–6135 to schedule a time to speak with Dean of Academic Affairs Scott Peeler.
