Julien H - Class of 2021
During the summer of 2018, equestrian Julien H. rode his horse for cancer in honor of his grandfather, who died from the disease. He did a sponsored round where he raised over $6,000 in his grandfather's name. In the competition, riders raise money for every clean jump in 60 seconds. However, there is a catch; there is no course, so it is very difficult. In that minute, competitors must get over as many obstacles as they can with some jumps worth more than others. At the end of the round, Julien had the option to risk his earnings and double his pledge for one jump. Julien decided to risk it and made every jump. In the end, he doubled his pledge.
