Pennington Football wins opener

Pennington's Keon Kenner ran for 226 yards while receiver Tyler Bock scored three touchdowns and accounted for 92 yards, helping the Red Hawks defeat Rye Country Day School with a final score of 36-28.

The game was played in Rye, NY on Saturday, September 10 and takes Pennington's record to 1-0 while RCD falls to 0-1.

Pennington's quarterback Aiden Prestigiacomo completed six of twelve passes for 160 yards and threw three touchdown passes. Prestigiacomo also ran the ball sixteen times for a total of 97 yards. Marcus Gaffney carried the ball four times for Pennington totaling 14 yards. Gaffney also pulled down a 49-yard reception for Pennington.

Destine Evans caught one pass that went for 29 yards for the Red Hawks. When the dust had settled, Pennington's offense had amassed a total of 494 yards. The offensive line clearly had an outstanding day!

Pennington's defense was able to rebound following a quick start by the home team and held RCD to six points in the second half.
