Catherine V. '26 and alpaca Sunny participated in the Pennsylvania Farm Show 2022 on January 11, with the 4H Club Pronking Pacas, who competed in showmanship and obstacle events. 

In alpaca showmanship classes, handlers are scored on how well they know and show their animal. Catherine was awarded third place in this class for the intermediate division. The obstacle event exhibits how the alpaca accepts training and can work with its handler through a set of challenges including a jump, see-saw, and others. Catherine received fifth place in this event for the intermediate division.
