Pennington's girls' indoor track team took fifth place at the NJISAA Prep B indoor championships held on Saturday, February 2.
Emily Moini '19 ran very well in the distance events taking third in the 800 meter run, second in the 1600 meter run, and third in the 3200 meter run. Moini's efforts garnered key points for her Red Raiders.
Julia Alito '21 ran well in the 55 meter hurdles as she grabbed a fourth place finish behind runners from the top two teams, Stuart and Morristown Beard.
Sophia Petrone '20, Hope Blair '21, and Molly Gibbard '21 all ran well in the 55 meter events. Shreya Krishnan '21 took fourth in the girls 400 meter run.
Olivia Heimann '21, Alva Harderberg '20 and Rachel Domb '19 also ran well in the distance events including the 1600 meter run, 800 meter run and the 3200 meter run.
Senior Maddie Lamb ran in the 3200 meter run.
The track teams get back into action on Wednesday, February 6 at 7:00 p.m. when they race at Princeton University's Jadwin Gym.
