Girls' swim team places second in Prep B

Pennington's girls' swim team placed second in the Prep B swim championships on Thursday, February 8 at Lawrenceville.

Alex Stevens rewrote her own records in the 50 and 100 Free and was barely touched-out for second place in the 50 free swimming an impressive 24.00.

In Stevens's 100 Free she would claim first place overall and earns "All State" recognition for her performance. Stevens was also recognized as "Swimmer of the Meet" for the B division (just as her teammate David Curtiss did two days before in the boys' state meet).

Pennington girls' finished an impressive third overall in the meet and took second in the B division behind Trinity Hall. Many personal best times were put up in today's meet which made for a lot of smiles on the faces of Red Raiders swimmers. The girls' team finished their season on a very high note today.
