The Pennington School welcomed Susan Harris P'19 on Friday, March 2, as part of the Applied Science Speaker Series. Harris gave a presentation on leading teams to solve problems in a STEM world.
Harris graduated from Purdue University with a business degree and has an M.B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania. She currently leads the U.S. Obesity Management strategy and execution team at Novo Nordisk, Inc. where she coordinates medical, technical, and non-STEM professionals to increase the awareness of obesity as a disease, and ultimately increase sales of Saxenda ®, Novo Nordisk's drug for chronic weight management. She previously led the diabetes solutions team at Sanofi pharmaceuticals. Harris started her career at Procter & Gamble in brand management, and then Avon Cosmetics.
