Student talks Global Studies, volunteer work

Rafer Friedman '19 spoke to the Global Studies students on Friday, November 30, about his volunteer work with Syrian refugees over the summer.

Friedman worked on a two-week program, organized by Rustic Pathways, that supported children of Syrian refugees in the Baltimore, MD area. His presentation offered statistics about the state of refugee immigration in the United States this year, which at 21,000 is the lowest number ever recorded.
