Two School teams place first in Odyssey of the Mind competition

Both Odyssey of the Mind teams from The Pennington School placed first over the weekend in their respective categories during New Jersey's Odyssey of the Mind Coastal Plains Regional tournament.

Odyssey of the Mind is an international educational program that provides creative problem-solving opportunities for students from kindergarten through college, according to the New Jersey chapter of Odyssey of the Mind's website. Team members work together to solve problems that range from building mechanical devices to presenting their own interpretation of literary classics. The Pennington School took home first place in the Triathlon Travels Division II and Emoji, Speak for Yourself Divison II categories.

The top two places in each problem and division advance to the State Finals, traditionally held in April. Following that, the top two places from each problem and division advance to the Odyssey of the Mind World Finals. For more information, click here.
