Nick Hill Remains Connected to Pennington Through Volunteer Efforts

A proud alumnus of The Pennington School, Nick Hill ’07 has remained deeply connected to his alma mater, contributing his time, expertise, and enthusiasm. As a student, Hill stood out as a talented athlete on the lacrosse and hockey teams and as a leader in his roles as a Junior Proctor and a Peer Leader. Today, his commitment to Pennington continues through his involvement in alumni initiatives and his instrumental participation on the Scholarship Classic Committee.

After graduating from Pennington, Hill attended James Madison University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business management with a concentration in human resources and a minor in English. He now holds a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) credential from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. Professionally, Hill serves as the assistant vice president and wealth management advisor with The Hill Group, a multi-generational family team at the Merrill Lynch Wealth Management Advisory based in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

Hill has been an active member of the Scholarship Classic Committee since 2017, bringing creativity and a forward-thinking approach to one of Pennington’s most cherished traditions and important fundraising initiatives. Director of Alumni Relations Jane Bott Childrey ’89 has worked closely with Hill over the years and says, “Nick’s valuable input and guidance have played a key role in expanding the Scholarship Classic to more than just a golf outing. He helped us introduce new options, like tennis and pickleball, which have allowed the event to exponentially grow. He is also just a joy to work with and brings a wonderful energy to all of our alumni endeavors. We are very grateful!”

Hill has also served as an expert speaker on School webinars designed to help the community learn more about estate planning and structuring philanthropic planned gifts. Hill’s enduring connection to The Pennington School is a testament to the lasting impact of a Pennington education.
