Pennington Varsity Baseball took its record to 16-5 with a 4-3 victory over Princeton Day in the NJISAA Prep B tournament semi-final at Diamond Nation in Flemington.
With the win, Pennington, the four-seed, will take on Gill St. Bernard's, the seven-seed, on Thursday, May 15, at Diamond Nation at 7:00 p.m.
Jamir Conover '28 hit a single for the go ahead RBI in the bottom of the sixth, scoring Lorenzo Swain '28 who was pinch running for Kian Phillips '26. Swain also stole two bases.
Landon Hallett '25 pitched four and a third innings and struck out five batters. Logan Hyndman '27 pitched two and two thirds to get the win. Hallett also had and RBI single.
Caden Burns '27, Kai Itakura-Prepscius '26, and Kian Phillips scored one run each for Pennington. Phillips also added an RBI single.
