Boys' basketball tops Hun School 84-73

Varsity boys' basketball topped Hun School by a score of 84-73 in a dynamite high school basketball game at Sparks Memorial Gym on Pennington's campus.

The Red Hawks received big contributions from virtually every player on the team. Kae Kilic's 24 points came off of six three pointers and six for seven shooting from the free throw line.  Kilic's three pointers came during a few critical moments in the first half to help Pennington maintain a lead.

Destine Evans scored 21 points and like Kilic hit some key shots in big moments.  Evans also had seven rebounds and five assists.

Dylan Napolean scored 18 points, grabbed nine rebounds and blocked three shots.  Point guard Noah Johnson played an effective role as provider, dishing out nine assists.  Johnson also chipped in nine points and five rebounds.

DJ Snead (four points, two rebounds, one assist), Jordan Owusu (eight points, four rebounds, and seven assists), and Makai Crawford (one rebound and a big stop on defense) all played key roles in a big MAPL league win for Pennington.

The Red Hawks came up with a few impactful hustle plays in order to get some key stops on the defensive end of the court.

Pennington will head to Hill School for another MAPL league game on Saturday, January 11 for a 2:45 tip-off.
