Girls' Lacrosse Tops Hun School

Pennington's Varsity Girls' Lacrosse team defeated Hun School by a score of 15-6 in a MAPL league contest. The Red Hawks started and finished strong.

Pennington's offense displayed unselfish passing to go along with accurate shooting right from the start and jumped out to a 5-1 lead.

Sara Surtz '27 had three goals and four assists as well as ten draw controls for Pennington. Evie Argiropoulos '26 scored three times, Charlotte Sweetman '27 scored twice, and Devan Tirendi '25 added two goals. 

Myla Tudor '25 scored twice and Natalie Maschler '26 added one. Argiropoulos, Maschler, and Tudor each added an assist.

Izzy Augustine '25, Nora Youngblood '26, and Olivia Craig '26 led a strong defensive effort for Pennington along with goalie Lillian Chiaravalloti '27. Alex Van Arsdale '26 and Lina Cortes '26 also played well on defense.

Ava Burns '25 scored twice and continues to provide impressive attacking and defensive skills to her team's efforts.

The Red Hawks return to action on Thursday when they head to Lawrence High School for a 4:00 p.m. game with the Cardinals.
