Pennington Varsity Boys' Baseball closed out an outstanding 20–7 season by capturing the NJISAA Prep B Championship over Princeton Day School, adding another highlight to a campaign that included marquee victories over Hun, Lawrenceville, and Blair.

The Red Hawks posted three decisive wins in the Prep B Tournament—defeating Montclair Kimberley Academy, Doane Academy, and Princeton Day School—to secure the crown.

Ryan Richer ’27 earned the championship-game win and contributed at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a key RBI in the fifth inning. Caden Burns ’27 came on in relief to lock down the save.

Chase Hallett ’29 delivered the breakthrough swing, ripping a double down the left-field line in the fifth inning to open the game up.

Defensively, Pennington was airtight. The outfield trio of Xander "Bam" Pelzer '29, Braeden Leeds '26, and Cayden Meccage '29 made multiple run-saving plays. Meanwhile, the infield—London Rauls '29, Chase Hallett '29, Jamir Conover '28, and Logan Oster ’27—executed cleanly throughout, shutting down the Panthers’ offense.

Freshman catcher Jaxson Burns played well behind the plate as he has done all season long. Seniors Kai Itakura-Prepscius, Kian Phillips, Braeden Leeds, and Logan Oster played their final game as Red Hawks and finish their careers with a state title.
