Pennington topped Stuart Country Day in girls' lacrosse on Tuesday, April 19 in a thrilling game that took overtime to determine a winner.

The Red Hawks of Pennington won the first half by a score of 5-4 while the Tartans won the second half 4-3, and the game went to overtime. That is when Steph Balerna scored the game-winner to give Pennington a big win at home.

Steph Balerna scored a hat trick while Abby Goodrich added two goals.

Keira Stampe, Meg Balerna, Kiki Griswold, and Ava Surtz all added single tallies for Pennington.

Olivia Davis added an assist and three ground balls, and Eva Guerino played well in goal.

Pennington returns to action on Friday at George School on Friday at 4:15 p.m.
