The fifth and final phase of Pennington's Building for the Future campaign is creating a pedestrian-friendly environment that will allow students to freely and safely travel our campus.
Construction of an Access Road
Starting in summer 2017, The Pennington School began to reshape campus access and driveways to create a more unified and cohesive external environment. Once the new road is completed during the 2018-19 school year, cars will be directed to the new roadway behind Stainton Hall after the morning drop-off and will then loop around the campus (see map below). The new road, Wesley Drive, is named for Joe and Marion Wesley, and it will create an all-pedestrian campus that will enable students to move between classes in a traffic-free environment.
