Annual Scholarship Classic helps The Pennington School to reach a matching grant to benefit student assistance. 

Last fall, community members gathered to officially launch Pennington’s historic Forever Pennington campaign. Thanks to generous donors from across the School community, we have seen momentum and excitement within each of our strategic priority areas. Now, a year later, we celebrate early milestones with recently completed projects and compelling opportunities for philanthropic investment.

The Pennington School was awarded a $100,000 grant from the Edward E. Ford Foundation to support the School’s Student Assistance Fund. The grant was awarded in June 2024 through a competitive application process and requires that the School raise an additional $200,000 in support for the Student Assistance Fund over the coming year. The Pennington School was one of 12 independent schools and two associations worldwide to receive a grant from the Foundation in June. 

At Homecoming and Reunion Weekend (October 2023), Bob Pearl ’63 was joined by family, friends, and fellow alumni to officially dedicate the Pearl Family Stadium, including the new Mike Pearl ’61 press box and Bob Pearl ’63 scoreboard. The ribbon-cutting celebration and dedication reception recognized this remarkable Forever Pennington campaign gift from Bob Pearl ’63, which was directed from the estate of his late brother, Mike Pearl ’61. With this generous investment, Bob has created a family legacy as a tribute to his brother’s memory and made a significant impact on The Pennington School.

October 26 marked the official launch of the Forever Pennington campaign, the most ambitious campaign in Pennington’s history. With a $50 million goal, the Forever Pennington campaign builds on the School’s core strengths and harnesses the momentum experienced in recent decades, allowing future generations of students to benefit from Pennington’s transformational education.
