Featured Donor Stories
We are grateful for the commitment and dedication of our Pennington Fund donors and volunteers, who are committed to The Pennington School’s mission of developing individual excellence in every student. Here are just a few stories of our generous donors who are helping spread the word about giving back to Pennington and inspiring our community with their leadership.
Ali Kliment ’07 joined the 1838 Society last year with her generous leadership gift to the Pennington Fund. Her reason for giving back? She wants to ensure future generations of students have access to the breadth of meaningful experiences offered to her at Pennington, including serving as a Peer Leader and participating in varsity athletics.
Bruce Wood ’67 is a member of the 1838 Society and an exemplar of a loyal leadership donor with an impressive forty-plus years of consecutive giving to the Pennington Fund! Early on, Wood realized that his Pennington experience had dramatically shaped the trajectory of his future and views giving back as a personal responsibility.
Jesse Van Marter ’13 is an inspirational model to Pennington's young alumni community. He is a dedicated class committee volunteer and has recently joined the Pennington Fund's 1838 Society with his generous leadership support of the School
Maurice Hallett ’92 graduated from Pennington thirty years ago and is as passionate about the School and community now as he was then. In addition to being the owner of the beloved 1911 Smoke House Barbecue in Trenton, he is a generous annual donor to the Pennington Fund, and an active volunteer as a member of Pennington’s Alumni Diversity Committee.
